What is the PAREF mentoring system? The strongest tool for personal formation of the student in the PAREF schools is mentoring. Each student is assigned to a mentor, who chats with and guides the student-mentee personally in achieving academic and character excellence. The mentor also holds sessions with the mentee’s parents. How is character formation integrated into daily learning? At PAREF Schools, character formation is at the heart of education. It is not a separate subject, but is woven into every aspect of school life—from classroom discussions to co-curricular activities, teacher-student interactions, and even parent formation programs. How often do students meet with their mentors? The regular communication between the mentor and the mentee, and the mentor and his/her mentee’s parents, paves the way for greater knowledge of the potential and accomplishments, as well as understanding of the temperament and behavior of the student. In a climate of friendship, sincerity and trust, the mentoring system facilitates the formulation of goals, strategies and action plan for the child to grow in responsibility, maturity, love for God and others, and be the best person he or she can be. The mentor meets with the mentee at least once a month. Do you have a sports programs? Yes we have a sports program in the PAREF Schools.
